Kundilini, aka The False Holy Spirit.

If you are in a church, a home church, or any setting where this is Christian worship/fellowship going on, and during prayer or worship (especially with the laying on of hands) and people are “slain in the spirit”, start laughing uncontrollably, start shaking and wobbling around the place, or start making weird noises (including animal noises), this is NOT the Holy Ghost.
This is the Kundilini spirit (more than likely) and it is dangerous.
You need to leave if any of this is going on where you are as it is not of God.
Kundilini is also known as the false Holy Spirit.

The people who seem to have this spirit, ie the leaders, always talk about fire, fire tunnels, or have holy fire conferences and the like.
It is imparted by the laying on of hands, being blown on or simply having someone with the spirit hover their hand over the head, and it causes all kinds of troubles.

I have seen this happen in person and I have also seen plenty of youtube clips of it. (I will find some clips and post them in the comments below.)

Please, I beg you, if this happens where you are, get out and repent. Ask for the Lord’s forgiveness because this could have disastrous results in your walk with the Lord.
If this has happened to you, you may just need deliverance, so pray about it.

This is something that I feel so strongly about, and maybe it’s a burden the Lord has put on my heart because of my experiences of seeing this, I don’t know, but I know it’s real and I know it’s dangerous.
Please heed this warning. (And share with anyone you know who may need to hear this.)

The “New Age” beliefs bombarding churches.

I get so very frustrated, and feel so helpless, when I see people who profess to be Christians but still follow “New Age” belief systems.
If they are ‘new Christians’ it’s understandable, but if they have been a Christian for many years, you begin to wonder if they are truly saved after all.
If they are new Christians, they are more than likely more ‘teachable’ than those who have been believers for many years. I wonder why that is. Is it a pride issue? They believe they know more than others because they have been professing believers for so long, or are they just embarrassed that someone has shown them that they are in error (which could again be a pride thing)?!

In this post I will point out a few new age beliefs that I see professing believers keep holding close to them. My aim is to expose these for what they truly are and to get people to seek the Lord on these matters and hopefully repent and turn away from this non-biblical rubbish, which isn’t actually “new” as the name suggests. It’s been around for millennia and people don’t realise that it’s just recycled and repackaged with a pretty bow.
To hold onto these new age beliefs is to go against God, and these people need to know the truth. I’m sick and tired of sitting back and seeing all these professing Christians promote such things, and not being able to personally help these people see the truth, so this is the next best thing I can do.

  1. Meditation – The word ‘meditate’ is used in the KJV Bible 14 (possible 15) times, the word ‘meditation’ is used 6 times in the KJV, all in the Psalms.
Lets look at the biblical definition of the word meditate and see what it actually means. According to the Strong’s concordance, this is what it means:
    A – to muse pensively (Genesis 24:63)
B – to murmur (in pleasure or anger), to ponder – imagine, mourn, mutter, roar, sore, speak, study, talk, utter. (Joshua 1:8 and some Psalms).
C – to ponder, ie to converse (with oneself, and hence, aloud) or utter – commune, complain, declare, muse, pray speak , talk (with).
So, as you can see, basically, the biblical term to ‘meditate’ means to speak about it either out loud with yourself or with someone else, or to (prayerfully) think on the things in the Bible.
It DOES NOT mean to sit in silence and empty your mind of all thoughts in order to find oneself.
Here is a definition I just found on a yoga website: “Meditation is a precise technique for resting the mind and attaining a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal waking state. It is the means for fathoming all the levels of ourselves and finally experiencing the center of consciousness within.
And: “In meditation, the mind is clear, relaxed, and inwardly focused. When you meditate, you are fully awake and alert, but your mind is not focused on the external world or on the events taking place around you. Meditation requires an inner state that is still and one-pointed so that the mind becomes silent. When the mind is silent and no longer distracts you, meditation deepens.”
See, there is NOTHING biblical about the new age definition of meditation or the practice of new age meditation.
In fact, if you do the new age type of meditation, you are actually opening up a gateway which allows the demonic realm to attach to your life.
  2. Yoga – Yoga is not just a form of stretching and meditating, it is actually the “physical expression of the Hindu faith”. (Please see my post on yoga. It has more info and has some excellent youtube clips that go into great detail about it. I highly recommend you watch this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqojd7wbw6E
  3. White Light and Prayer Circles/Labyrinths/Contemplative Prayer – are slowly creeping into churches all around the world. Again, these things are not biblical and should not be done. If you have done anything like this, you need to repent and not do it again.
I once identified as a Wiccan, which was basically a “White Witch”. I used to do such silly things as use ‘white light’ for my protection, and I also used crystals as well. I look back now and feel pretty stupid for believing in such things, as I know they are nothing.
With the ‘white light’ use, people visualise a white light surrounding them, and this is supposed to be some universal force that is protecting them. I actually had someone ask me late last year if I have my white light and I said to her “I have Jesus, that’s all I need.” This is a woman who also told me that she believes in ‘god’. But you know, I’ve learnt that just because people say they believe in a god, it doesn’t mean it’s the same God that I believe in, the God of the Holy Bible.
Also, prayer labyrinths/prayer circles are becoming very popular in churches these days. Here is a good article explaining them and how they are unbiblical. http://www.gotquestions.org/prayer-labyrinth.html
Please note, I do not endorse the whole gotquestions website, I am just using this page because it has very good information about this topic.
Here is another link with some good info about Contemplative Prayer. http://carm.org/centering-prayer
  4. Belief in a False Christ – There are many people who claim to believe in Jesus Christ, but as the Bible says “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24
There are many different Christs out there, which is why it is important to pray for discernment each and every day. There are also many famous people who promote one of these false Christs or the “Christ Consciousness”. Oprah is one of these people. She professes a belief in a ‘god’ and even calls herself a Christian, but she believes in, and promotes, a false Christ. Please see my post on Oprah, https://eternityisforever.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/oprah-televangelist-for-the-new-age-agenda/

There are probably more, but these are the main ones I come across. As you can see by all this information, these practices are not biblical and should not be done by anyone who professes a belief in the true Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible. (Horoscopes/psychics/tarot cards are also things that Christians shouldn’t do. We don’t need to know our future, and we can’t know, because only God knows.)
It is very important to pray for discernment daily, and to pray for the Holy Spirit to lead you into truth each and every day.
There are so many of these false, new age belief systems creeping into churches these days that it’s easy to be misled. After all, our pastors went to Bible college and know more about the Bible and God than we do right? Wrong! In some cases pastors have been placed behind the pulpits specifically to deceive people. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. We must test the spirits to see if they are actually from God. Many of them will twist the scriptures ever so slightly that it’s hard to tell what is true and what isn’t.
So please, be very careful about what you believe, as you may be believing a new age system that is not from God.
