Should a Christian smoke pot? (Marijuana)

“That the aged men be SOBER, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.” Titus 2:2

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore SOBER, and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 4:7

“Be SOBER, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8

There are many, many more verses that ask us Christians to be sober, but I won’t list them all as I think you get the point.

This post is in reference to drugs, in particular marijuana, pot, dope, weed or whatever you want to call it.
Many people, including Christians, smoke pot for whatever reason. I don’t believe Christians should be smoking it at all, for any reason.
Not only is it bad for you and changes your DNA, but smoking it opens you up for the enemy to take root.*
Even if it’s for medicinal reasons.**

Have a read of this article and see what I mean, as it explains it far better than I can.
I’ll include a couple of quotes to start off with to go with my explanation.

*”Witches and sorcerers specialized in connecting followers with the netherworld by concocting mind-altering substances.” Witches use drugs to access the spirit world and communicate with devils.

**”Assuming marijuana has medicinal benefits, would it not be wiser to pharmaceutically manufacture the components that offer patients relief rather than offer them a bong? Heroin can be used medicinally but I don’t hear anyone demanding that anyone should have the right to mainline.” There are studies that suggest the consumption of the plant eaten raw or juiced is beneficial for ones health, not the smoking of it or eating it in cakes or other cooked foods. Heating it up causes the THC to make people high, whereas juicing it or having it in raw form does not.
