3 Reasons Why You Can’t Find A Godly Man.

This was posted on a friends facebook not long ago and I think it is pure gold!
This fellow has hit the nail on the head. I don’t think it just applies to Christian men and women either. Judging by the way most young girls/women carry themselves these days, it applies to them not being able to get a “good guy” too. For ages I have been saying the same things as this guy in the clip. This clip needs to go viral.



False teachers and or movements.

There are some people that think that since I’m only a new Christian I should be very careful doing a post like this (and that’s fine), especially as I haven’t heard of some of these people before and that I shouldn’t be getting all my info off the internet. I don’t see how else I can get info about these people as there probably aren’t all that many books listing false teachers/prophets out there. I’m guessing because no one wants to get sued.
I base my information off different websites. I check them and I check them against other websites and I see which ones line up. I also have facebook friends from different countries who might be ‘nearer to the action’ so to speak and I ask them if they’ve heard of so and so and I line that up also. I try not to just post any ole negative thing that I find on someone.
The whole point about doing this post is not necessarily to point the finger at anyone, it’s to make Christians aware that not everyone who says they are a prophet/apostle/healer are. I have seen this in person, people who claim to be an apostle or prophet, but they aren’t because they haven’t been 100% correct.
In these times we need to be very discerning.
We are told “Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:32
Note how it says “and cause MY PEOPLE to err by their lies”? That means that His people, God’s people will be caught up in error if they believe just any ole prophet/teacher etc. Just because someone had some truthful teaching when they were younger doesn’t mean that they haven’t strayed off the path of truth as they’ve gotten older. And just because they seem biblical, it doesn’t mean they are.
I urge you to check what they say with the bible, as the bible is the final word, not what man says.*

I think it’s about time I did a post on false teachers considering how many are out there.
I’m only a fairly new Christian so I haven’t heard of a lot of these people, but I do recognize some of the names on this first list I’ll put a link to. The first link has names of the people, what movement/church/group or false teaching they are into and boy it’s a long list. (I don’t agree with Derek Prince being on there as he publicly repented of being involved in the “Fab Five”, and I’m not too sure David Wilkerson should be on there either.)
But as will all things like this, some people may or may not agree with the list. If you don’t agree with someone being on there, pray about it and ask the Lord to reveal His answer to you.
I will include some links to some of the movements/groups on this list, because if I try to do it all on here it would be way to long for anyone to read let alone for me to type out.

We are warned of these people in the bible and we need to take care of who we listen to or read.
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15
We also need to understand that the enemy has placed some of these people here in purpose. I recently watch a youtube** clip on Billy Graham and his earlier teachings were great, but somewhere along the line he went off the rails. It could be that the enemy put him in there to gather followers, then ever so subtly he changed his teachings and people didn’t notice because they knew him to be a good preacher. That’s one way Satan gets people to follow false teachers. They start of biblical, but over time their teaching stray ever so slightly from the word, which then makes the whole teaching wrong. It’s like it says in the bible: “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” Galatians 5:9, or to put it another way: “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” 1 Corinthians 5:6

So please, be aware that there are people out there who are purposely deceiving Christians. If you really like someone, do some research and see what others say about them and see if their teachings are biblical.

Mind Control. Does it really happen?

This is a post about the likes of Britney Spears, Beyonce and more that have, in my opinion, been mind controlled.
Sound far fetched? Watch this clip and tell me what you think after watching it.


Do you still think it’s still far fetched? I don’t at all, not anymore.
I never used to have much respect for Britney Spears. I always just thought she was setting a really bad example for young girls and wouldn’t watch her clips or buy her music etc.
After watching this clip, I have a whole new understanding about her. I actually feel for her. After all, what parent would like to see a child dress and act like this, especially if she’s being mind controlled.
Remember her episode some years back when she shaved her head and went on a rampage? I just thought it was because she was nuts. Now, I don’t think so.

Hard Sell. An excerpt from a newspaper article on the sexualisation of young girls.

“Dolls in G-strings, tween idols singing about S&M, children posing in mini-skirts and make-up. What messages are we sending our girls and, asks, Sian Briggs, what can we do about it?”

“one flick of the TV remote can turn a Saturday cartoon into a soft porn music video. Where onesies emblazoned with slogans such as One Bad Little Mother Sucker and It Girl raise more laughs than eyebrows. Where for every Barbie in a puffy meringue gown are another four in thigh-high boots, miniskirts and conductor caps.

Sex sells and little girls are not immune. Padded bras and matching G-strings may be totally wrong for seven-year-olds, but retailers, manufactures, advertisers, publishers and broadcasters don’t give a hoot. After all, the tween market, aged between six and 12, is big business – worth about $10 billion per year in Australia alone. In the US, it’s worth about $50 billion.

With such big bucks up for grabs, it’s no wonder designers such as Sophie Morin added a line of Victoria’s Secret-style underwear for tweens to her label Jours Apres Lunes – two piece lingerie sets that are frilly, delicate, embellished with lace and bows and as exquisite as they are disturbing. (Morin said she was “extremely surprised” by the uproar the line created in her native France, claiming, “All I wanted to do was offer underwear that is soft and pleasant to wear.”)

Bejewelled bras for flat chests aren’t the only tween loot being pimped by marketers – think celebrity-stuffed magazines, mini-me fashion, glitzy make-up and toiletries and electronic “makeover” games.

Suri Cruise, the six-year old daughter of Tome Cruise and Katie Holmes, has been spotted wearing red lipstick and clomping around the city streets in high heels since the age of three, proving the wealthiest of little girls are not immune to the hype.

In fact, the world’s most expensive brands want their slice of the tweenage pie too, with Gucci, Dior, Burberry and Versace now all producing a children’s range. Donatella Versace handpicked the 10-year-old daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, to front the Young Versace campaign. Wearing make-up, with her hair volumised and windswept, and donning a leather jacket and miniskirt, Gerber appears at least four years older than her tender years in the shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

There are still dolls, of course, but these dolls are light years away from sweet Strawberry Shortcake. Bratz dolls, for example, are smothered in heavy make-up and don everything from hair extensions and fur boleros to leopard print catsuits and pink vinyl boots. There’s
a Bratz Babyz range too, featuring toddlers wearing G-string nappies and chain belts.

Mother and author of Things My Daughter Needs To Know – a no-holds barred guide to life for girls – says Bratz dolls are banned with a capital B in her house. “Could someone please tell me why these dolls are dressed like cheap tranny hookers? I don’t need my daughter getting her sartorial tips from them,” she says.

Then there is the music. Madonna warbling about virgins being touched for the very first time drew gasps of horror in the 80’s, but now seems positively sedate. In 2010, R&B singer Rihanna, whose average fan is believed to be aged between 12 and 13, released a single called S&M. In the film clip, she writhes around in ropes on all fours, dons a pink dominatrix suit while whipping tied-up men and fellates a banana, all while crooning:
“I may be bad, but I’m perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But chains and whips excite me.”

Rihanna’s antics are a long way from Kylie bouncing around to the Locomotion in 1988 with her bad perm and ra-ra skirt. The tween market emerged as a money-spinner in the late 80s, and had grown so exponentially by 1998 that it caused Bruce Friend, vice-president of worldwide research and planning for Nickelodeon, to declare “The 12 – 14 – year-olds of yesterday are the 10 – 12 – year-olds of today.”

But 14 years on, just how “old” are 10 – 12-year old-girls now? Their generation is more target=marketed than any other. Their heroes are stars like Miley Cyrus, who, by 16, was performing a pole dance on stage wearing micro hotpants. They have been bombarded with more sexual commercial messages at a younger age than children of the 70s and 80s ever were; messages they simply don’t have the cognitive skills to effective process and understand.

Dannielle Miller, author of The Girl with the Butterfly Tattoo and director of Enlighten Education, which conducts worships to empower young girls, says that girls today receive a plethora of adult messages from all different directions. “And the problem is, it’s not just sex that sells today, it’s sexism as well,” she says. “Our culture tells girls that being hot and sexy and useless is way cool.”

Emma Rush, author of a 2006 report into the sexualisation of children in Australia, describes the industry as nothing short of “corporate paedophilia”. In a recent article for the Sydney Morning Herald, Dr Rush slammed fashion house Witchery for the “sexed up” advertising of its new tween line, 8Fourteen, saying “The implication that 8-year-olds are simply physically miniature versions of 14-year-olds, and that 14-year-olds are simply physically miniature version of 18-year-olds, is garbage. They’re all at quite different developmental stages. Putting the older ones up as ‘style models’ for the younger ones in not appropriate.”

It’s not only inappropriate, it’s also dangerous. Research points to early sexualisation as a contribution to body and self-image issues, anxiety, depression and eating disorders. “Girls and teenagers who have high exposure to mass media that sexually objectifies girls and women are more likely to view themselves as sexual objects,” says Jennie Hannan, executive general manager of Anglicare.

“These messages promote unrealistic expectations of what it is to be a woman or a man. They promote sexuality to the exclusion of other characteristics that are important for  growing into a healthy, happy adult, such as a healthy, active mind and body.
They also promote physical characteristics as of primary importance in the development of your sense of self, neglecting the idea that physical and emotional development need to go hand in hand.”

The Australian Psychological Society was so concerned about the effects of this snowballing sexualisation on children that, four years ago, it drew up a guide for parents to help their daughters navigate and emerge from the onslaught with a healthy self-image.

In her role as Commissioner for Children and Young People in WA, Michelle Scott has put the topic high on her agenda, saying it is a major concern of parents and child health professionals around the State. “Children as young as seven experience body image dissatisfaction and 30 percent of Australia’s 11 to 24-year-olds have a body-image problem. Potential harms caused by sexualised media and advertising on children should not be ignore,” she says.

So what’s being done about it? For many parents, the raunch culture is so saturated and seemingly impossible to regulate that i can seem an insurmountable mountain to climb. “Short of  becoming a police state, I don’t know that there is a simple solution here,” Yasa admits.  “The only thing I could suggest is to introduce some regulations when it comes to age-compression marketing. Do we really need high-heeled booties for babies and pole-dancing kits for four year olds? We could easily ban these products and be far better off in the long run.”

This upsets me so much. I am well aware of the agenda behind this and I find it disgusting. As a parent, I don’t allow my children to watch Disney (see my post about Disney), I don’t listen to mainstream music, so therefore my children only have limited exposure when they are at school or somewhere else, I buy them age appropriate clothes and I don’t allow any music channels on tv either (it’s mainly just children’s shows I allow).
I just hope that people who read this can understand what’s going on and stop buying these products.
Hit them where it hurts buy refusing to buy their products. They’ll soon get the message if people, en masse, stop buying their goods.
We need to make a stand and show them we mean business.

Hell. Is it real?

I’ve done a post about heaven, so I suppose it’s time I did one about its opposition, hell.

Do you believe hell is real? A lot of people don’t, even some Christians. Although I find it quite interesting that most people believe in heaven. Everyone (from my experiences) believe that they will go to heaven because they are good people. They haven’t robbed a bank, killed anyone or anything like that. On the other hand, they probably believe that murderers, rapists and the like will go to hell.
I’m going to explain why this isn’t true with scripture.

The word “hell” occurs 54 times in 54 verses in the King James bible.
It appears in the NIV – 14 times, in the NASB – 13, in the NKJV – 32, in the ESV – 14, in the VUL (Latin Vulgate) – 0, NLT – 17.  As you can see, there are some major omissions of the word ‘hell’ from modern, popular translations.
Does that not concern you? Does it not make you think that the authors of those bibles are trying to convey the wrong message, that they are trying hide something? It certainly makes me think so.

Here is the “outline of biblical usage” taken from the Blue Letter Bible (my emphasis added to 3 and 4):

1) sheol, underworld, grave, hell, pit

a) the underworld

b) Sheol – the OT designation for the abode of the dead

1) place of no return

2) without praise of God

3) wicked sent there for punishment

4) righteous not abandoned to it

5) of the place of exile (fig)

6) of extreme degradation in sin.”

What do we have to do to avoid going there? I believe that first of all, you need to be saved. * Second, you need to obey God. Reading the bible and learning what God has told us through His Word is extremely important. You can’t learn about the character of God and what is expected of us if you do not read the bible. Here are just 3 of the 54 verses that contain the word.

  • “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17
  • “Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.” Psalm 55:15
  • “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28

Here’s a little story from the bible to illustrate something.
19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” Luke 16:19-31

Pretty eye opening isn’t it? I wish I could convey to people that if they don’t turn to God, they will end up where this rich man does.
People just don’t want to listen these days though. They are too busy being ruled by their own desires and their own lusts. It breaks my heart that a lot of people I know are probably destined for hell, even though I have posted scripture after scripture after scripture. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, I don’t know. But from what I’ve been learning along the way, we are to plant seeds, and that is what I hope I have been doing.

Do you deny Jesus?

I have had quite the journey getting to where I am today in my Christian walk.
To be honest, I don’t feel like I’m the best Christian, and I know I should be better. I fail God so many times in so many ways each and every day.
Thankfully He picks me up, dusts me off and I keep going.
I don’t know if I show the fruits of the Spirit as God is still working in me in that regard. (I hope I show at least some though.) I have come a long way from where I started, but I’m not where I should be yet.
I am constantly learning as I go, as I’m sure many others are also.

But one thing I’ve noticed of late is that a lot of people call themselves “Christian”, yet do not believe the bible. (I am also not seeing the fruits of the Spirit in some of them.)  I’m struggling to understand why they would think the bible is not something they need to read or to believe.
Ok, I do to a certain extent, as some of it can seem harsh or cruel, but to dismiss the bible because of things you don’t understand is just plain silly.
How else do we learn about the character of Jesus, (who was God in the flesh on earth)?
I’m learning that people have made up their own God, their own Jesus to suit themselves and their lifestyles. This is what the bible says about those who have made up their own Jesus.

  • “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2 Corinthians 11:4

They don’t want to live as the bible instructs, as it goes against how they want to live.
We are told to pick up our cross daily, not live for ourselves.

  • “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

I think the key words there are “deny himself”, meaning deny yourself your pleasures and follow Jesus.
Do you deny yourself your worldly pleasures, or do you live for yourself and what YOU want?
I admit, I still have some worldly pleasures that I indulge myself in, like chocolate, or a nice hot chocolate on a cold night. But as far as other things go, I have given them up. I do not listen to wordly music anymore, I don’t watch much tv anymore, I don’t drink alcohol anymore and I’ve stopped hanging around with people that do all these things.
Why? Because they are not necessary. They are not what I need anymore. Some of those things were a conscious choice and some of those things just happened.
I’ll be honest with you, yes I miss some of the things I no longer do or have, but I try to remember that the reward is far greater in heaven than anything on this earth could possibly give me.

Jesus warned us about denying Him. This is what He said.

  • “But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:33

You deny Jesus by not believing in and adhering to the bible, for Jesus is the bible, He is the Word, which is the bible.

  • “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:1,2

Please, if you say that you are a Christian, read the bible, believe the bible, for to deny the bible is to deny Jesus.
He said it plain and clear, if you deny Him, then He will deny knowing you, to God in heaven. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be denied. It’s something I don’t even want to think about.

What is the true Gospel?

The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

The word “gospel” literally means “good news.” But to truly comprehend how good this news is, we must first understand the bad news. As a result of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat” Genesis 3:6, every part of man—his mind, will, emotions and flesh—have been corrupted by sin. Because of man’s sinful nature, he does not and cannot seek God. He has no desire to come to God and, in fact, his mind is hostile toward God “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Romans 8:7. God has declared that man’s sin dooms him to an eternity in hell, separated from God. It is in hell that man pays the penalty of sin against a holy and righteous God. This would be bad news indeed if there were no remedy.

But in the gospel, God, in His mercy, has provided that remedy, a substitute for us—Jesus Christ—who came to pay the penalty for our sin by His sacrifice on the cross. This is the essence of the gospel which Paul preached to the Corinthians. In 1 Corinthians 15:2-4*, he explains the three elements of the gospel—the death, burial and resurrection of Christ on our behalf. Our old nature died with Christ on the cross and was buried with Him. Then we were resurrected with Him to a new life “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:” Romans 6:4-8.

Paul tells us to “hold firmly” to this true gospel, the only one which saves. Believing in any other gospel is to believe in vain. In Romans 1:16-17**, Paul also declares that the true gospel is the “power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes” by which he means that salvation is not achieved by man’s efforts, but by the grace of God through the gift of faith “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9).
Because of the gospel, through the power of God, those who believe in Christ “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 are not just saved from hell. We are, in fact, given a completely new nature “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 with a changed heart and a new desire, will, and attitude that are manifested in good works. This is the fruit the Holy Spirit produces in us by His power. Works are never the means of salvation, but they are the proof of it “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10. Those who are saved by the power of God will always show the evidence of salvation by a changed life.

    You need to change your life and repent (turn away from your sins) and be led by the Holy Spirit. All this can be done with God’s help. Some of it will be easy, some of it will be hard. Life will not automatically become a bed of roses, but it will be worth it in the end. Expect to go through firey trials which will stretch you and test you. Expect for people to start distancing themselves from you. But never fear, because what all this means is that you are on the right path and God will be with you all the way. You will be able to do all things through Christ who will strengthen you.

    “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9

Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned against you and that my sins separate me from you. I am truly sorry. I now want to turn away from my sinful past and turn to you for forgiveness. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, that He was raised from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become my Saviour and the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to convict me when I sin. I pledge to grow in grace and knowledge of you. My greatest purpose in life is to follow your example and do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.If you have said this prayer, and genuinely mean it, your life should start to change. If you don’t already attend church, find yourself a solid, bible believing church (preferably one that uses a King James Version, but it’s not vital), get yourself some solid Christian mentors/friends, read the Word (bible) each day and last but not least, PRAY.

{Also, don’t always rely on people to teach you about the bible, because people are fallible and make mistakes. The one true person to rely on for teaching us all things is the Holy Spirit.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 15:26}

What does God say about homosexuality?

zxcThis post is going to be hard to do for several reasons. One of which is the fact that I could very well upset some people and possibly lose friends over. I don’t know if it will happen, but I feel the need to get this off my chest regardless of what others think.

To start off with, I’m getting so fed up with people calling us bible believing Christians “haters” for speaking out about homosexuality. Just because we say we don’t believe in the homosexual lifestyle it doesn’t mean we hate homosexual people. I really wish people would understand that instead of just accusing us of hating homosexual people. Most Christians will tell you that they don’t “hate” homosexual people, and that is probably true. I don’t hate homosexual people. I just don’t believe it is natural. It clearly says in the bible that it is an abomination and I understand why.
God created us, humans, to marry and pro-create which is to have children.

  • “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:27,28
  • “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24

Clearly you can see that God created us male and female for a reason. It’s plainly obvious that two men or two women cannot have children together. It’s physically impossible.

Here is what God says about homosexuality. Please be aware that these are NOT my words, they are God’s. I am not the one condemning people or judging people for their lifestyles. I am merely trying to let people know what God says and to hopefully open people’s eyes to the truth. I am not doing this out of hatred for anyone. I am saying it because I care. There are serious repercussions for people who continue in this lifestyle and I just want to show people so they can, hopefully, turn their lives to God, repent, and be free.

  • “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Leviticus 18:22
  • “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Leviticus 20:13
  • “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:26-32

Take note of what God says about abominations, ie homosexuality etc.

  • “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7

God sees homosexuality as an abomination and the abominable end up in the “lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.”
It’s certainly not a place I want to end up, and I don’t want to see people I care about end up there either.
I can’t make anyone change their lifestyles, but I’m hoping that by reading this, someone will take notice and realise it is not ‘natural’ or ‘normal’ and no matter how many celebrities “come out”,  and no matter how many singers sing about how people are ‘born this way’, it does not make being homosexual right or natural.

The enemy is having an absolute field day by turning people away from their creator. He has made it so that the traditional family unit has disintegrated to almost nothing. Look how many people are divorced, children born out of wedlock, people working 7 days a week to earn more money for their toys, which in turn takes time away from their family..
The enemy has made sin look good and good look evil.

It really upsets me to see people spew such hatred out of their mouths about Christians who are merely trying to do as we are told, which is to spread the gospel and show people God’s word. Yes, a lot of people are full of hatred towards homosexual people and this is not right, certainly not from a Christian.
I am not doing this out of hate, I am doing it because I care. I don’t want to see good, decent, caring people go to the lake because they don’t want to listen to God’s word.

I feel the need to post this one last scripture: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” 2 Timothy 3:1-4

Jesus. What did He really look like?

Do you know what Jesus looks like? Have a think about it and try to remember the last picture you saw of Jesus. What does He look like in the pic, blonde hair and blue eyed? Dark hair and blue eyed? Or maybe long dark hair with brown eyes? I’ll add a couple of pictures so you can see what I mean.

Do these look familiar? Now that you’ve seen these pictures, I’ll show you what the bible says about Him.
“For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:2
“And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.” Matthew 26:48,49
This particular verse means that Jesus looked just like just like all the other men there, with no obvious difference in appearance. If He were different, as the pictures insinuate, then Judas would have just told them to arrest the man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Also, if you think about it, where was Jesus born? In the middle east. From what I’ve seen, people in the middle east have olive coloured skin, dark hair and dark eyes. Not exactly what I see in a lot of popular pictures.
In fact, it is thought by many that the pictures of Jesus are actually based on Cesar Borgia. (Link to come, as the previous one isn’t working anymore.)

One thing that really worries me about these pictures of Jesus that people cling to, is that it could actually be what the false prophet/anti-christ etc looks like when it comes, and he will fool potentially millions of people. Think about it. So many people believe that that’s what Jesus looked like, so if someone comes looking like that, people will believe it is Jesus, when it actually isn’t.
They could very well be fooled into taking the mark of the beast because this person who looks like “Jesus” will tell them to. Of course, this is not in the bible, but many people feel the same as I do. I just don’t want to see anyone get fooled.
The bible also says this about making pictures or idols of Him to worship: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:4-6.

I have been told that having pictures of Jesus or crucifixes etc is idolatry. I tend to think this is true, as people tend to worship the pictures etc and not Jesus himself. Here’s a verse about idolatry: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,” 1 Corinthians 6:9 I
f you have any pictures of Jesus, then please, I ask you to pray about it and see if God really wants you to have them. I think the scriptures speak for themselves though.
**Edit – Someone has just made a comment to me that this picture could also play a part in end times deception. I never looked at it that way. It (the picture) is something we need to take with a grain of salt, because nobody truly knows what Jesus looked like. I believe the Bible doesn’t reveal that to us for a reason.

Judging others. Is it biblical?

This is taken from a page I stumbled across this morning.

The Confusion Between Judging and (Bold Rebuking, Warning or Correction.)

Some people say all judgment is wrong by singling out the verse “Judge not, that ye be not judged” (Matthew 7:1).
It is true that there are certain forms of judgment that we are not meant to make. The above verse is referring to one of these forms. However, there are instances where the Bible says that we need to judge. We need to read other verses and not only the one above.
Correction is not judgment, as the Bible says that we should correct, rebuke and be bold to those who are sinning. It is to be done in an act of caring for them in the hope that they will believe. That way we could contribute to the saving of a soul. If we don’t, we could be responsible for suppressing the truth which could mean eternal death instead of eternal life for that person. “James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”
Where the Bible says do not judge, it could therefore mean judging whether someone is born again or not born again. This is because in doubtful cases only God can be the judge of this. The form of judgment that this verse says not to do could also be referring to a form of judgment that a person makes when they despise a sinner, while at the same time believing that they are worthy themselves. We should only correct in a humble way as an act of love. The Bible indicates to boldly correct people in an effort to bring them to repentance. We could say that someone may be eternally separated from God to spur them to repentance. But to say that someone is definitely saved or that they will be eternally separated from God would be wrong. “Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7: Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)” There is no judgment yet. God performs the judgment at the end of the age.
We should not judge doubtful things or things by appearance but we are still meant to make righteous judgment on things that are clear in the Bible if we don’t willfully do them. “John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Romans 14: 1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 1 Corinthians 6: 1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?”
Jesus and the Apostles were very bold and rebuked and condemned evil. They even openly rebuked people in the church for doing evil, in order to strengthen the church. There were examples when even physical force was used to correct them. In Nehemiah 13:25, Nehemiah cursed, struck and pulled out the hair of the Jews who rebelled by having pagan wives. There were other incidences where he forced people to stop lending money at interest, (Nehemiah 5:10-13) and threatened people for breaking the Sabbath (Nehemiah 13:19-21). Nehemiah forced people to do the right thing. Jesus Also overturned the tables of the moneychangers in the temple (Matthew 21:12-13).
Rebuking a sinner, exposing corruption, correcting someone in love or disciplining ones children is not judging wrongfully. If so, Jesus and the Apostles who were our example to follow would have been in error. I believe that the Devil is lying to people to convince them that Biblical correction is judging. Therefore, many believe that it is fine to go on sinning and not obey God by warning others. This is the opposite of the example set by the Apostles. People are more likely to take note and remember strong stirring words. Strong words cause people to repent and not remain lukewarm. Bold ministry can turn people off but they would probably turn away anyway and be considered by God to be lukewarm. Therefore, they probably would have been rejected by God anyway. In the Bible people mostly either turned well away or became committed believers.
“1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 2 Timothy 4:2 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
If we don’t warn someone in error to turn from evil, we are partly responsible. “Ezekiel 33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”
